Large bubbles & PL Error - Solve ozonator settings

🚨 Understanding the Issue

If your engine is producing large bubbles or emitting an alarm sound, the cause is often related to the Ozonator being set to manual mode. This can disrupt normal engine operation and may even cause a PL error.

Fortunately, this is a quick fix and does not require technical servicing.

🔍 What to Look For

Check the behavior of the Ozonator icon and the water flow:

  • The Ozonator icon should only appear when the pump is running

  • Small bubbles during pump operation are normal

  • If the 'P' icon flickers continuously, the Ozonator is set to manual mode

  • In manual mode, the system releases air constantly, which can block the pump

This air disruption can stop the engine from detecting water flow and cause it to shut down with a PL error or alarm tone.

🔧 How to Reset the Ozonator to Automatic Mode

  1. Make sure the engine is powered on (it does not need to be pumping)

  2. Press and hold the Up and Down buttons at the same time for 5 seconds

  3. Confirm that the 'P' icon stops flickering

    • It should only appear when the engine is active

    • Large bubbles should stop appearing

✅ After Resetting

Once the Ozonator is set to automatic, you should:

  • Hear no alarm sound

  • See small, steady bubbles during active cycles only

  • Notice the PL error disappears (if it was previously showing)
