Rust on the Engine Fan Grille – What to do to solve it
🧾 Understanding the Issue
Rust on the fan grille of your Icetubs Engine is rare. All fan grilles are coated to resist corrosion, but rust may still occur if the protective coating is damaged by impact or friction.
If rust appears more than 3 months after installation, it is no longer covered under warranty. Replacement is still available for a small fee.
🧠 Common Causes of Fan Grille Rust
-
Movement or shifting of the engine during setup or cleaning
-
Minor impact damage that weakens the grille coating
-
Placement in humid, coastal, or chemical-rich environments
-
Prolonged outdoor exposure without overhead protection
🔧 Available Solutions
1. Try At-Home Rust Removal
